[Archive] - CrossFit Discussion Board Hi, competitive powerlifter here..I double-overhand hook grip all my sets except my heaviest one (which I use alternate grip). I've been reading online recently here that over time, the hook grip will destroy the nerves in your thumb...so then, your thumbs won't have any feeling and then the hook grip won't hurt anymore! lol...I'm not sure if I want to destroy ...
